Event History

With the rich history of our event, we believe it is essential that we pay homage to the group of individuals who conceived the idea to host this event as a networking opportunity for those in our industry. Over the years, the bonspiel has grown and evolved, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of these individuals.

Dave Gaston, Ed Hofer, Terry Tiffin, Don Martin, Don Skapik and Don Knopp were the original six people at the meeting who decided to host this event. After their discussions, they knew they would need help. They recruited Steve Durbak, Bob Farion, Rollie Duan and Bob Kent to complete the inaugural committee.
